At Dicus & Burke, PLLC, in St. Petersburg, we are a strong legal team with a remarkable track record of success in the legal field. But we are more than just a great law firm; we are a firm with experience in every region of the state. Both of our principal attorneys are Florida natives who attended law school in Florida. We focus on representing Florida clients throughout the state.
Whether you have a problem with your insurance company, you or a family member has been injured due to someone else’s negligence or you are facing criminal charges, our lawyers are here to defend your rights. With attorneys who each have more than 20 years of experience, local Florida clients have trusted the experience, knowledge and service that Dicus & Burke, PLLC, provides.
Wesley C. Dicus Sr., Esq. is an experienced, award-winning attorney who grew up in St. Petersburg. After graduating from Florida State University and earning a law degree from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, Wesley worked in the Office of the State Attorney for Pinellas and Pasco counties. In this role, he prosecuted important misdemeanor and felony crime charges, including several high-profile cases. After working in the Office of the State Attorney, Wesley began his civil work representing insurance companies in their defense against claims from policyholders. This role included significant important litigation experience.
Ryan S. Burke, Esq. also did his undergraduate work at Florida State University and earned his law degree from Stetson, where he competed in Moot Court Board and served in two important court internships: one for a Hillsborough County circuit court judge and the other for a U.S. District Court magistrate. After law school, Ryan spent the next 12 years between a local St. Petersburg law firm and a prominent national law firm litigating complex insurance disputes.
Prior to starting Dicus & Burke, PLLC, Ryan worked at a large firm representing insurance companies in insurance disputes and Wesley worked as a prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney. As a result, we understand how the other side works, and we bring that knowledge and experience to the benefit of our clients.
We’ve represented the government and the big insurance corporations. We know what goes on behind the scenes. This is the reason we decided to start Dicus & Burke, PLLC, in 2017: To represent people. To represent YOU.
